    LWRMC Hosts New Year New You 2020 Health & Wellness Expo at UTC in conjunction with LWRCA and LWRBA



    Saturday, January 4th, 2020

    The Mall at University Town Center

    9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

    Vendor Registration is now open!

    This event, previously held at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, is now being hosted at The Mall at UTC and will include fitness classes hosted by local instructors, meditation sessions in the LWRMC Lounge and cooking demos with Williams-Sonoma and renowned Chef, Judi Gallagher.

    The Health & Wellness Expo will allow 75 vendors from Sarasota and Manatee counties in the Health and Wellness field to attend and gain exposure to over 50,000 mall visitors on what is expected to be a busy weekend, as children will still be out of school.

    The Health & Wellness Expo is presented by Lakewood Ranch Community Activities in conjunction with Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.

    To help draw attention to your booth, attendees will receive a passport for each vendor and will be included in prize drawings with completion at the end of the event

    If you would like to be an exhibitor at the event, please visit lwrhealthexpo.org to signup.

    Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance members are $300, and include a 6' table and 2 chairs. All other Health and Wellness based vendors are welcome at $500 per space.

    Due to mall regulations and space limitations, we are only able to accept 75 approved vendor applications, and applications can be denied or refunded if not approved by LWRCA and Mall at UTC Management.

    Cheryl Biron

    Cheryl Biron is a Business Growth Coach certified in both Scaling Up and 3HAG methodologies. She is passionate about helping CEOs and leadership teams create differentiated strategies and provide line-of-sight to all their employees. This enables her clients to attain flawless execution of their goals, with the right people in the right roles, so they achieve their targeted financial results, and enjoy the ride to what they consider “freedom”.

    The systems and processes Cheryl implemented as President and CEO while scaling One Horn Transportation, a trucking and logistics brokerage, enable her to spend minimal time working “in” the business on a day-to-day basis, while still maintaining a practical understanding of the challenges faced by other business leaders. Cheryl also leverages her previous experience working in large corporations and her MBA, while incorporating the Scaling Up and 3HAG Tools in her coaching practice.

    Prior to embarking on her entrepreneurial path, Cheryl held marketing positions growing consumer healthcare brands at P&G and other corporations. She earned her MBA from the Wharton School and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University. In addition to English, Cheryl also speaks French.

    Shane Robson-Smith, CPFC

    Shane Robson-Smith started Workplace Money Coach in 2014 and has since worked with dozens of companies and community organizations providing financial wellness through workshops, webinars and eCourses. Shane has worked one-on-one with hundreds of employees to help them organize their financial lives and create a strategic plan for reaching their financial goals.

    In 2018, Workplace Money Coach launched the Living Paycheck to Purpose financial empowerment program and teams up with financial professionals throughout the country to facilitate the program in the workplace.

    Being a good steward of their finances has allowed Shane and his wife, Gina, to realize their dream of traveling internationally with their children and most importantly, to enjoy all the adventure life brings without the stress of worrying about money. It is Workplace Money Coach’s mission to share the impact good money management can have on an employee’s ability to live their best life and to help employees realize the Power of their Paycheck!

    Natalie Johnson

    Natalie Johnson is an expert in individual and organizational performance. She has over 30 years’ experience working with employers, healthcare systems and carriers on creating strategy that improves company productivity and individual performance. Natalie’s background in Exercise Physiology, Performance Nutrition & Performance Psychology sets the foundation for how behavior changes can have a significant impact on individual performance as long as there is connection to a meaningful purpose. She is an award-winning Health Coach, Performance Coach, Sports Nutritionist, and Performance Trainer. She has received a variety of awards including Healthcare Hero, Champion of Healthcare, Health Program Innovation Award, Corporate Wellness Leadership Award and Business Leader Woman Extraordinaire. In our fast-paced environment, Natalie helps individuals and organizations identify ways to sustain high performance while maintaining balance, health and happiness.

    Natalie is described as highly energetic with a contagious positive vibe! Personally, she manages a highly demanding schedule of being married to a Law Enforcement Officer and raising two active boys!

    Jaime Marco is the owner and President of Evolve Business Consulting.  Jaime has an established, comprehensive, and proven background in sales, branding, training & development, leadership coaching, facilitation, change management, business development and professional speaking – experience that she has cultivated over many years.

    Over the last 15 years, Jaime has worked with numerous companies and organizations to instill the change they desired to facilitate an increase in their customer satisfaction, grow their customer base, develop their team members, train their leadership, and increase and solidify their brand awareness.

    When it comes to learning and development, Jaime stands by the philosophy that a Trainer is not one who just stands in front of the room and lectures but rather one who knows the importance of engaging and developing an associates’ thinking and to encourage them to become an active part of the learning process. She believes that while it’s important to know the “What” but even more important to know the “Why”.

    Jaime has considerable experience working with teams and individuals all over the world and in a diverse range of industries. While business models and companies may be different, the common factor is people. Jaime’s advanced understanding of the behaviors of people and cultural differences allows for her to directly relate to her clients and to create an impactful training, coaching session, and presentation.


    This event is your opportunity to learn from an accomplished leader in our region. Allen Carlson, director of UF’s Sarasota Innovation Station and former President & CEO of Sun Hydraulics, joins us to share his philosophy on business and leadership.

    About Allen Carlson
    Allen Carlson joined the University of Florida’s College of Engineering in May 2016. Mr. Carlson’s role is to launch UF’s Sarasota Innovation Station (an economic development and engineering education initiative) in the Sarasota region.

    Prior to this, Carlson spent 20 years with Sun Hydraulics, the last 16 years as President and CEO. During this time, Sun transitioned from a privately held company to a public company (1997 ipo / NASDAQ-SNHY). As a public company, revenue grew from $50m to $225m and with a market cap from $50m to $1.2b.

    The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance is proud to partner with the LECOM Suncoast Classic to present this exclusive Pro-Am tournament, benefiting The Brain Health Initiative. Each foursome will be paired with a PGA TOUR professional playing in the LECOM Suncoast Classic tournament later in the week.

    Partial proceeds from the event will be donated to support The Brain Health Initiative, and a portion of the entry fees may be counted as a charitable contribution. Tax deduction certificates will be provided following the tournament.

    The LECOM Suncoast Classic, a tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour, made its debut on the annual schedule in 2019. The LECOM Suncoast Classic is contested at Lakewood National Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and will be held the week of February 10-16, with 144 players competing for a $600,000 purse.
